Letter25 is a think tank established to explore the changing nature of masculinity. A mission driven organization, Letter25 looks to shed light on the pluralistic ignorance that leads to the caricature of men. Tapping a vertically integrated theoretical approach, we dovetail psychology, anthropology, and sociology to build an intimate portrayal of masculinity, grounded in primary research.
Currently, we are pursuing two avenues to capture and disseminate new depictions of men.
Documentaries
Y is a documentary about modern fathers. We side-step the stereotypes of dads as two-dimensional weekend soccer coaches to reveal the far more nuanced experiences of men today in raising kids.
Longitudinal Survey
We are implementing a robust longitudinal survey to gain a better understanding of both variance and trends in attitudes and behaviors that surround masculinity.
